White County Court Dates

Start with the case itself. A White County court schedule lives inside each case's public docket, so pull up the docket first and confirm the setting with the trial court handling the matter. Use the statewide case portal to search by cause number or party name, then look for the newest entry on the Chronological Case Summary to spot the current court date. White County offers no separate case-hearing search page, so the docket is the working tool. The county's annual calendar PDF is administrative only; it proves nothing about any single hearing. And if a setting was reset, continued, or cancelled, trust the latest court entry over anything older.

How the White County Court Calendar Works

White Circuit and Superior place settings in Odyssey. MyCase exposes public CCS setting blocks. A setting can name the date, time, courtroom, judge, and event type, followed by a result or later reset. The newest docket entry matters most.

Indiana Administrative Rule 9 requires daily calendars or dockets to be available electronically or in another form. No dedicated White publication URL was located. Use MyCase, then the administrator or Clerk as the local fallback.

No Standalone White Hearing Search

White County's court pages link MyCase, contacts, local rules, and annual calendars, but not a standalone daily case-settings database. The case CCS is the first online channel. A direct call matters when a setting is close, unclear, or changed.

Route the call: Circuit settings go to 574-583-5032, Superior settings to 574-583-1548, and records or copies to the Clerk at 574-583-7032.

White County Court Date Lookups

Start with a full cause number. If it is unavailable, search by party name and narrow Court to White County. The prefix distinguishes Circuit 91C01 from Superior 91D01. Read past old notices until the newest setting or order.

  1. Open MyCase and select White County.
  2. Search by cause number, or party name with a filing-date range.
  3. Locate the newest setting, reset, or continuance order.
  4. Confirm court, date, time, courtroom, judge, and setting type.
  5. Call the court administrator if any detail conflicts.

White's County PDF Is Administrative

The county homepage links 2025 and 2026 approved calendars. Inspection shows administrative or payroll material, not an individual hearing list. A date there cannot prove that a case is set.

The Rule 9 source explains daily-calendar access.

Court Settings: What Each Field Means

Read a setting as a group. A date without the court, time, and event type is incomplete. A result after the hearing may show that it occurred, was reset, or produced an order.

DateThe scheduled day, subject to a later order.
TimeThe stated appearance time, which may differ from a broad docket call.
CourtroomThe assigned room; confirm an omission or change.
JudgeThe assigned judicial officer or trial court.
Setting typeInitial, pretrial, omnibus, motion, status, trial, sentencing, or another event.

White Criminal Calendar Stages

Local rules describe an initial hearing, pretrial conference, omnibus date, plea or trial, disposition, and sentencing. Motions, bond action, warrants, or counsel changes can add events between them.

Initial hearing
Early appearance addressing charges, rights, and counsel.
Pretrial
A case-management setting before plea or trial.
Omnibus date
A procedural checkpoint in the local sequence.
Disposition
The entered result, separate from sentencing when applicable.

A listed stage is not proof it occurred. Look for a result.

Two Dates on a White CCS

When two future-looking dates appear, start at the bottom of the chronological event list and work backward. Look for words such as continued, reset, vacated, cancelled, notice, or order. Compare the judge, courtroom, and setting type. One date may concern a motion while another is a trial, so two entries do not always conflict.

If both entries appear to describe the same hearing, call the court administrator. Give the full cause number and read the dates exactly as shown. Parties represented by counsel should also contact their attorney. A Clerk record copy can document what was entered, but only the assigned court can confirm current appearance instructions.

Courthouse postings or a public terminal provide an offline route when MyCase is unavailable. White's local pages do not document the terminal location, so ask the second-floor Clerk counter for the public search method. Indiana's e-filing guide describes public-access terminals at a state level, but it does not establish a specific White terminal position.

White Family Calendar Entries

Family-case schedules can include an initial or provisional hearing, status conference, mediation-related event, final hearing, and later enforcement setting. White local rules require a good-faith meeting before many initial or provisional hearings unless safety or good cause prevents it. That requirement can generate certificates, notices, or orders alongside the actual date.

Parents in cases involving children under 18 must complete UpToParents within the local rule's deadline. The county certificate records the participant, county, case number, completion date, and verification details. Its appearance in the CCS is a filing event, not a hearing. Distinguish it from the next setting block.

Protective-order and other sensitive cases can have limited remote detail. Do not infer that no date exists because MyCase does not display a document. Use the public CCS information that is available, then contact Circuit because local rules allocate protective-order matters there. The Indiana protection-order e-filing portal is a filing channel, not the general court calendar.

For civil or family resets, the local continuance form provides another check. It requests the old hearing date and a proposed new one, but the judge must approve the order. Until that occurs, a filed motion alone does not change the duty to appear. When time is short, rely on direct court confirmation rather than a pending request.

When a Court Date Moves

A continuance request does not move a hearing by itself. White's form asks for the existing date, reason, contact with the other party, verification, service, and a proposed replacement date. The signed order controls. The CCS may retain the old date and add a new one.

Read the newest event and check for a notice, order, or result. If two dates remain, call the proper administrator. Do not treat silence as cancellation.

White Odyssey Calendar History

White Circuit and Superior went live on Odyssey on March 16, 2020. Older history can include converted events with less detail than a current setting.

The Odyssey courts page documents the rollout.

Missed Settings and What Comes Next

Check the newest CCS at once, then call the administrator for the court in the cause number. Ask whether an order, warrant, default, dismissal, reset, or new date was entered. Contact counsel if represented. The Clerk can supply a public order but cannot change the schedule.

Missed a setting? A warrant, default, dismissal, or other order may have issued.

Contact the assigned court or your attorney immediately and request current instructions.

Seek licensed legal advice before appearing if the court indicates an adverse order was entered.

If MyCase is unavailable, visit the Clerk's second-floor counter at 110 North Main Street, Monticello, and ask about the public search method. Mail requests can use PO Box 350, but a missed setting calls for direct contact.

A mailed or faxed record request is useful for a copy of the setting notice or order, not for urgent confirmation. The Clerk publishes fax 574-583-1532, though directory information differs for one court office, so verify the destination first. No county email request form or guaranteed response time was located. A party who faces a near deadline should call the assigned court and counsel instead of waiting for a records response.

Remote or special appearance instructions should also come from the court. Research did not locate a standing White County video-hearing link or reminder program. Never infer that a hearing is remote from a generic state service. Confirm the mode, access instructions, and courtroom rules for the specific cause number.
